- Within the Ping Melody post the author mentions a divide between the 'Art World' and 'Net Art', is this because the two should not belong together, or just that the 'Art World' has not yet accepted 'Net Art'?
- How did the artist Isabelle Jenniches create 'the Call'? I got lost in the description.
- Can someone elaborate on what the statement 'Operational Term is Stimulate' please?
Re#2: Isabelle gathered single webcam images (on a webcam that has zoom & pan capabilities) over many weeks or months and then stitched all the images together into a huge digital image (many gigs in size) -- for gallery exhibitions, she would make very large prints of these -- the level of detail in the images is very high, so that it is quite interesting to look very close at the total mosaic. It doesn't translate so well into a web-based image, but the prints are quite impressive...
